Posted by Work done on Sat 25 Mar and Sun 26 Mar 2023. Finished the last two mid-fuse bulkheads. Pretty straightforward. The usual parts prep — lots of deburring. Only a little final size drilling. A little bit of countersinking. Then primed the parts. I was able to do most of the riveting with the pneumatic squeezer which was great. I think it was only 6 rivets that required a rivet gun and bucking bar. Had to pull out my special RV-10 bucking bar to help with two hard to access ones.
This almost finishes Chapter 25 of the plans (need to go back and finish final drilling and assembly of the “forward center” bulkhead after the landing gear mounts arrive).
