This includes work on both Saturday and Sunday.
Finally, the inboard aileron brackets are attached to the rear wing spars. This last amount of work fixes a couple of mistakes from misreading plans and the fact that my printed plans were out of date.
Mistake #1 — I had countersunk the wrong side of the angle aluminum on the aileron brackets. Might not have been a factor but I decided to replace. I countersunk the side that the rivet callouts were in the SB version of the plans. That was the wrong side, I later learned when going back through the fine-print.
This has been clarified in the latest digital plans, where it clearly indicates which side to countersink.
Then, mistake #2 is that I riveted on the brackets with out a couple of doublers. My printed plans do not call the doublers out, but of course the updated digital plans do. So I carefully removed the rivets successfully, and reinstalled with the doubler brackets.
Anyway, it’s finally done.

Good to know you got that done, & that even the printed plans can be misleading at hopefully rare times. Hopefully the digital upsated plans will be reflected in updated printed plans. Looks like you’re close to installing the skin.
