Seat Rail Support Prep

This entry is for work done on both Saturday and Sunday. Dug into the fuselage kit. I’m not going to tackle the wing tanks until the weather gets warmer, so that the ProSeal is more workable.

Did much of the work to prepare the seat rail supports that go on the main fuselage spars. There’s a fore spar and an aft spar, and the wing spar will mate between them.

Final drilling wasn’t really required since they were final sized holes, but I do still like to run a drill through where rivets will go through more than two parts. Still pretty clean in this case. Still had to cleco everything together, because there was some match drilling required as well. This includes a couple of bulkhead pieces that go on the aft spar. Could not do those on the foreward spar because that needs to be done together with the landing gear mounts, which are currently on backorder.

The two forward seat rail supports were primed and assembled. The four aft seat rail supports were match drilled where necessary, and deburred. They are now ready for priming and assembly.
