Got the left leading edge skin all prepped. This included deburring all the holes plus deburring the edges. Then dimpling. Used the DRDT-2 for much of it, and the pneumatic squeezer for the edges. A few holes near the apex of the leading edge cannot be reached by the DRDT-2 (well, they can be reached, but there’s no room for the handle). So the “close quarters dimple die set” works great here. It’s used with a finishing nail and a pull rivet gun. Most of these dimples turned out great and indistinguishable from the rest. Then it was a light scuff, acetone clean, and primer spray on the inside surface of the skin.
