Right Spar Complete

Started by cleaning up some of the inner holes of the countersinks for the screw holes. I was careful to not countersink too deeply, but they are still pretty massive. Because they go through the whole spar and enlarge the inner hole, had a few that were a tiny bit jagged. Used a #3 drill to clean them up, which is within spec of the maximum diameter these holes are supposed to be (which is 7/32″ or 0.219″, a #3 is 0.213″).

Then it was time to rivet the nutplates onto the tie-down bar, and rivet the assembly onto the spar. Bolts were attached but not yet torqued.

Onto the next chapter, just started by cutting a couple of pieces of aluminum. I really wonder at some of these measurements… 1 13/32″. Really? 1 7/8″ is too big?
