Well, this weekend had temperatures in Livermore topping out at 103 and 104 degrees (even warmer in the hangar believe it or not) as well as smoke… so I only got some time in on Sunday evening after temperatures dropped below 90 and the smoke started to clear.
Just fixed one rivet on the left spar extension, as there was a slight gap between the doubler plate and the spar extension web. Drilled it out and used a C-Clamp to hold the plate tight, and it worked out well.
Then it was onto riveting the spar extension onto the right spar, which went pretty quickly.
