Remade a part today. The F-1012D Up Elevator Stop. Why? Well, there are two very similar parts to make from angle aluminum, with just different length and hole position. Oh, and one has corners cut on the vertical leg, the other one (the Up Elevator Stop) doesn’t. I think when I was marking up the parts, I got a little carried away and marked the corners to cut on both pieces. And cut them. So I have to remake. That’s what I get for cutting corners.
The bad part is the primed (primered?) one. Also, the “outboard” holes were a little too far inboard on the original part, so I corrected that as well.
