Today started by match-drilling the aft top tailcone skin to the three top J-stiffeners. Then came the time consuming task of fitting the front top tailcone skin onto the cone. It was a bit of a challenge getting everything to line up and the clecos to engage properly, but just required patience and was something that couldn’t be rushed. Then the sections of the three top J-stiffeners had to be match drilled to that skin as well. Finally, the holes where the top skins meet the side skins and longerons had to be final drilled from 3/32″ to #40.
